This is a class project I DP'd with the help of Kai Reinhard, Bailey Selvidge, Katie LeCluyse and Lily Sanders. For this assignment we were asked to shoot on one stock of film in two different locations. We decided to shoot on Kodak 7219 (500T), as it was the right sensitivity for the lighting conditions, and the tungsten color temperature provided us with an unusual color cast at the beach. We wanted the film to evoke mixed feelings of joy and self-hatred, while the main character dreams of disconnecting from the world.
