"INDIVIDU," directed by Josh Stoker, is an experimental dance film about one's ego, "shadow," and "umbra(s)." Josh and I worked endlessly to tell this story, whether through months of rehearsals, camera tests, costume tests, or location scouts. Every element of this film was scrutinized.

 

We shot this film in both north-western and north-eastern Georgia over the course of two weekends. During principal photography I learned how to block a large group of people on screen. I also dealt with complex choreography, which led to hours of planning in order to land each beat perfectly.
