"GODSEND" is set in a dystopian future and carries a dark emotional theme of desperation. When Bailey and I first discussed the visual language of this film, we instantly knew the look it deserved. We wanted to visually represent the feeling of hanging on by a thread.

I saw the film as an opportunity to experiment with how far you can push a gritty and dark look while maintaining an overall feeling of contrast and visual interest. My greatest challenge was providing the film with a consistently gloomy look that still managed to complement the near-monochromatic color palette.
